The Cretan’s Association of Montreal and the Cretan’s Youth Association of

Montreal are non-profit organizations dedicated to the cultivation and

preservation of the rich cultural history and heritage of the island of Crete.

This association has been established since the early 1900’s by a group of

Cretan immigrants to Montreal. Since then it has become a cultural center

whose main goal is to empower their members to keep the spirit of their

Cretan roots, customs and traditions alive!

Through its diverse cultural programs that include dance classes,

philanthropic fund raisers, historical seminars and striving to bring the

community together, the organization reaches out to Cretans of all ages in the Montreal area.

Over its 100 years of existence, the Cretan’s Association of Montreal has

been making a positive difference in the lives of individual members, as well

as +supporting and educating the general public about the history and rich

culture of the island of Crete.
